Marvin K. Mooney is a pest. He is uninvited and the big furry hand wants him to GET! But it seems Marvin is waiting for something to "kick" him out. Marvin and the 37th President of the United States, Richard Nixon, seem to have a lot in common. Nixon ran for President in 1960 but failed to win the White House. He lost the race for governor of California in 1962. Finally, he ran and won election to the presidency and was inaugurated in 1968. President Nixon is know for a couple of things such as his anti-Communism viewpoint and he was a member of the Un-American Activity Committee. However, Nixon's name goes hand-in-hand with the Watergate Scandal. Watergate was the investigation surrounding the break in of the Democratic National Committee Headquarters at the Watergate Building. The scandal led to President Nixon's possible impeachment and his resignation.
